We are one of the leading suppliers of machineries, tools and consumables in the jewelry manufacturing industry of Egypt and we are sole representatives/distributors of many well known companies in this sector.
Being the field of work of our fathers and forefathers taught and passed on from generation to generation we have obtained quite a stable base in this sector. We have had the experience of working in diverse cultures and with different people in the countries of India, Bahrain, UAE and Egypt. The vast experience that we have gained throughout have helped us in understanding the technicalities and procedural requirements of the jewelry making business and this understanding gives us an edge in adjudging our customers’ requirements for machinery, tools and other consumables used in this industry.
HISTORY
In Egypt, our journey started when Mr. Vinodrai Ratilal Sagar visited here for the very first time and saw favorable conditions and a good opportunity. This was followed with the establishment in the year 1998 of Samrat Jewellers as a partnership firm with Mr. Pravinchandra Ratilal Sagar, Mr. Vinodrai Ratilal Sagar, Mr. Kantilal Ratilal Sagar and Mr. Nimish Pravinchandra Sagar as the partners. Samrat Jewellers was involved in manufacturing and job works of gold jewelry and introduced many new designs and methods of working which still prevail.
Unavailability of quality tools and equipment in the local market necessary for jewelry manufacture made us to look elsewhere and source it on our own for our own needs and later on for other customers who preferred better tools. With time we expanded our product and service portfolio and focused mainly on machinery and tools business.
In the beginning of the year 2009 our sister concern Sagar Universal was started in Mumbai – India to look after our sourcing base in India. Thus with our own presence in the market there we are now able to source good quality products at the same time maintaining competitive price levels. To support our continuous expansion and to shape our business in a proper organizational structure, Samrat Machine & Tools (Ltd.) was established in Cairo – Egypt as a privately owned company in December – 2011. The following years saw our collaboration with many well known companies and we introduced many new products and technologies in the market. We are the first to introduce the X-Ray Fluorescence based precious metal analysis machines in Egypt’s precious metals market. In April – 2013, Samrat Machine & Tools (Ltd.) opened its second show room in Cairo – Egypt.
